I’m a researcher, scribe, and published fiction author who lives somewhere near the buckle of the Bible Belt. My clients have included musicians, substance abuse treatment centers, churches, gyms, event planners, and more.
I am a blue-collar bookworm, not a trained scholar. I’ve mixed paint, served food, guarded empty buildings as a security guard, and even patrolled streets as a law enforcement officer. I am an autodidactic learner — a somewhat pompous way of saying, “I taught myself.” Much of the writing on my website is my attempt to parse ideas I encounter while reading and studying.
When not working, I enjoy perusing many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore, teaching Bible studies at my local church, and spending time with my wife and two rambunctious boys. I’m known to employ black humor and imbibe black coffee.

Natalia Mirontchouk is one of my ghostwriting clients. She owns a fitness studio, and her niche is training golfers with barbells. By making golfers stronger, Natalia makes them better at their sport. For this project, I interviewed Natalia to learn about the scope and vision of her business. The result was an article published in Met Golfer magazine. It outlines the foundation of her training philosophy and establishes her as a credible expert in her field.
Jaymie Walker owns Ruth & Co. Events. She needed postcard-sized flyers for the Tennessee Bridal & Wedding Expo. Jaymie had some copy she’d written but said she needed help brainstorming ideas to make the copy really “pop.” We ran with her Beauty & the Beast theme and produced these exquisite, creative postcards. The audience for this page is local and municipal governments, as well as third-party security companies. Behavioral Science Consulting needed user-focused copy that clearly communicated the benefits their firm offers, i.e., psychological wellness screenings for new and current employees.
